I’ve been working with a functional medicine practitioner to manage some chronic inflammation, and we’re starting to look at my oral health as a potential trigger. Are there any tests that go beyond just a general dental exam? I’m looking for something that can provide granular data on exactly which bacteria are present so I can tailor my treatment plan.
